Final Table & Report
The 2023/2024 Teignbridge
League literally came down to the last bowl when Christow
entertained Buckfastleigh on a highly charged night on March 27th.
During the season, 7 teams from the Teignbridge area battled it out in a very competitive, but always friendly manner. Ultimately it was both Abbotskerswell and Christow who each played their 12 matches with a constant eye on each other’s results.
As the season drew to its conclusion. It was left to Christow to produce the required 30 points over their final 3 matches, one of which was against Abbotskerswell. A quick look at the final table will tell you that Christow managed to produce some quality bowling to achieve those 30 points, pipping Abbotskerswell to the title by a solitary point.
A big thank you to everybody who took part in this season’s
competition, and I’m sure we will all be looking forward to the
start of the 2024/2025 season later in the year.
